Acupuncture by Russell Chute, TCMP was opened on June 13, 2016 in Saskatoon. Russell decided to research alternative methods of healing after studying to become a primary care paramedic.
Alternative medicine quickly became a passion, which Russell studied for many years in Vancouver,BC at PCU College of Holistic Medicine. He then decided to share the knowledge he gained over years of studying with the community of Saskatoon. Russell still researches and pays attention to new skills and techniques he can use to provide the best treatments he can. Each session with Russell begins with a thorough review of the patient. $40 Tun Na Massage

Tun Na Massage is an acupressure massage that tonifies the body and muscles by putting pin point pressure on acupuncture points to resolve a pattern. These points are often very tender giving us insight on specific issues within a meridian and allowing us to treat it. It is not a typical massage, as may be done by a massage therapist, but can treat, as well as, relax the body.

Our express treatment option is perfect for patients looking for shorter timed appointments while still offering pain relief, allergy treatments, stimulation of weight loss, or relief from stress, anxiety and related symptoms. The Acupuncturist will choose the method of treatment best suited to the patterns that present. Treatments may include Needle Therapy, Blood letting, Fire Cupping, and Moxabustion.

Our full treatment option offers more services as there is more time to complete the therapy. It starts with a warm cupping massage and some acupressure to promote circulation of Qi, which promotes a stronger effect. Then the Acupuncturist will choose the method of treatment best suited to the patterns that present. Treatment options are extensive and may include Glass cupping, Needle therapy, Electro-stimulation, Blood letting, Gua Sha, Tun Na, Ear seeds and Auricular stimulation, and Moxibustion.

We'll start with using a facial cleaner, then apply avocado oil to the area.  We use tiny glass suction cups placed on top of the skin and gently glided over the skin. To achieve a deep relaxing state. There are a few needles added to balance the qi to get the most out of your visit.

The treatment begins with traditional acupuncture to increase blood production and flow, balance hormones, and alleviate discomfort. Following acupuncture a microneedling device is gently glided over the skin creating tiny punctures, which encourage a healing response in the skin, leading to collagen and elastin production. It is used to treat headaches, skin ailments, fine lines, deep lines, scarring, stretch marks, hair loss, nervous system disorders, paralysis, and painful joints.
Microneedling rates only apply when purchased with an acupuncture treatment. Microneedling is an additional cost and is not covered under insurance.
